Omid Rad Pour, MD

Dr. Rad Pour joined The Endocrine Clinic in 2011 after finishing his Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Rad Pour received his medical degree in 2000 from University of Medical Sciences of Mashad, Iran. He is board certified in both Adult Endocrinology and Internal Medicine; he is a member of The Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology.

Dr. Rad Pour worked in Endocrinology research at the University of Tennessee Endocrinology department and had publications in the area of prediabetes and altered sensorium in diabetic ketoacidosis.

He is actively participating in phase 2 and 3 endocrine clinical research studies in areas such as inhaled insulins and new type 1 and 2 diabetes agents.

Dr. Rad Pour sees patients for a variety of endocrine conditions both at the Southaven, MS and Memphis locations. He has a keen interest for thyroid diseases and is actively engaged in thyroid needle biopsies as an outpatient procedure in both offices.
